More than 55,000 individuals registered to attend the National Association of Broadcasters’ (NAB) annual trade event NAB Show in Las Vegas this year, according to data released by the industry organization. The four-day event, which wrapped up on Wednesday, included registered attendees from more than 160 countries, with one out of four attendees traveling from outside the United States to attend, and more than half of registered participants attending NAB Show for the first time.

The E. W. Scripps Company has announced plans to produce and televise two new women’s sports tournaments that will debut later this year. The first will see Scripps Sports partner with Sports Illustrated on a new biennial all-star tournament called the “SI Women’s Games,” which will feature athletes from six different sports. This year, the tournament will take place in Oceanside, California and run from October 28 to November 2, the companies said.
