Taking to social media, the Reds Museum announced: “We are saddened to hear of the passing of Reds Hall of Fame second baseman Tommy Helms. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.” Helms debuted for the Reds back in 1964, but it wasn’t until two years later that he assumed a full-time spot in the lineup.
