    Police arrested a man who allegedly set fire to the bosque Saturday afternoon in Northwest Albuquerque. Rebecca Atkins, an Albuquerque Police Department spokesperson, said 45-year-old Sean Taylor was in custody.     Multiple homes went up in flames and several firefighters were hospitalized after a bosque fire pushed into a Los Lunas neighborhood on Saturday afternoon.     On Friday afternoon in Southeast Albuquerque, a common sight unfolded: People jaywalking through rolling traffic within sight of a crosswalk. A sign that read "Pedestrian In Roadway" flashed to warn drivers of their presence. The newly placed sign detects people by repurposing wildlife crossing technology, the kind seen along rural highways where elk roam freely.

    Jun. 14—American flags — some inverted — waved beside Palestinian and Mexican flags as thousands protested the Trump administration Saturday at a park on Albuquerque's West Side. The "No Kings Day" rally at Mariposa Basin Park joined others across New Mexico, including in Las Cruces and Santa Fe, as part of a nationwide day of protest in response to the actions of the current president, particularly recent immigration raids and deportations.
