    The moment of (possible) truth has finally arrived: My predictions for all 23 categories in the 96th Academy Awards. While making my predictions, I tried to be as correct as possible. However, because my guess is still as good as anyone’s, I did make some “No Guts, No Glory” picks. I know I won’t nail every single prediction, so I figured I’d take some big swings.     They’re finally here!Before this point, I meant to write up premature Oscar predictions. But because most of the performances and films we’ve been predicting were sights unseen, I decided to hold off until after the fall festivals took place to do so. Plus, with both the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes causing various release delays, it was up in the air as to whether the movies being predicted would even come out this year as the months progressed.

    This piece was written during the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Without the labour of the writers and actors currently on strike, the movie being covered here wouldn't exist. Award-winning actor Ben Whishaw is notable for his versatility. From dark comedy to horror to prestige TV, Whishaw has mastered a variety of genres and arguably has yet to give a false performance. Although, his characters possess one common denominator.
