    At its board of directors meeting, BKT outlined its strategic plan for the next five years, including growth in revenue and increased investment. The plan focuses on three main areas; strengthening its market position in the off-highway sector, expanding its carbon black business and entering new market sectors in the Indian market. Part of its off-highway plans include an approved expansion of its dedicated rubber track facility, which will be operational by the end of 2026.

    Evesham-based Vale Green Energy has used a new silage additive from FM BioEnergy and is reporting that the product has further proved its value. The company used Silasil Energy SG in trials during 2023/24, and then used it last season. It is specifically designed to suit the variability of UK grass and is said to work in a range of dry matters, temperatures and pH levels. It’s a combination of four bacterial strains, instead of the two found in many other additives.

    Crawfords has announced the expansion of its AGCO sales and after-service territory, which will now extend across North Hampshire and Berkshire. In addition, the company has been awarded the Massey Ferguson franchise for West Sussex and South Hampshire. The company will now offer full-line support across all AGCO brands, throughout the expanded area. This includes sales, parts and aftersales service for all machines.
