My knee-jerk response would be “No”, but it’s just not that simple. Triggered by the announcement that Chuck E. Cheese is making inroads into the Australian market, I have to admit that I grew up in the era when a creepy clown party at Macca’s, eating cheeseburgers whilst sitting on a plastic toadstool, was peak birthday excitement. So, a human-sized mouse hawking pizza and good times plays to my nostalgic side.
