To the Editor:In their public notice about the start of the trapping season, Vermont Fish & Wildlife downplays the danger to the public and pets of leg-hold and body-crushing kill traps. Information omitted in their publication:• Leghold and kill traps may be set on private (with notice) and public lands, including national wildlife refuges that are home to endangered and threatened species.

To the Editor:I am voting for Dan Noyes for the Lamoille 2 House seat. As a social worker who worked with older Vermonters for nine years in Lamoille County, I know how much Noyes has done for older Vermonters. Vermont has the fourth highest percent of citizens over 65 (20.6 percent) in the nation. We are No. 10 in the nation, according to an AARP survey, at providing support to its older adults.
