ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WTVY)—With summer just around the corner, the Enterprise Recreation and Aquatics Center is making some changes. The center will have updated pool hours, new rental options, and exciting opportunities for the community. On Memorial Day, the center and pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. However, no fitness classes will be held, and the Administrative Offices will be closed.

This announcement comes after a fire damaged the Command Sergeant Major Bennie G. Adkins State Veterans Home, which was open for less than a year. While the home is being repaired, Veterans Parkway will be closed to ensure safety and support ongoing restoration efforts. Highway 167 and 51 remain open, but the Veterans Parkway connection is currently unavailable.

(WTVY)—The 26th Annual Festival in the Park has been canceled due to the threat of inclement weather on Saturday, May 3. “Safety is our top priority, and we deeply regret having to cancel this event for our community,” said Blake Moore, Director of Enterprise Community Services and Recreation. This event will not be rescheduled. “We know how much this event means to our community, and canceling it was not an easy decision,” said Mayor William E. Cooper.
