En février prochain au Japon aura lieu l'événement "Doraemon The Movie Festival" où seront projetés à nouveau les 43 long métrages d'animation de Doraemon, en prévision de la sortie du 44e, et à l'occasion aussi des 45 ans du manga. En effet, depuis 1980, un nouveau film d'animation de Doraemon sort chaque année au Japon. Donc 43 films à ce jour, un record (mondial sans aucun doute) absolu pour une oeuvre très populaire au Japon (mais pas vraiment à l'étranger).

Takashi Yamazaki, the acclaimed director of Godzilla Minus One, will next be directing, writing, and producing Grandgear, his first English-language feature for Sony Pictures. Sony, which won a competitive bidding war for the project, has not released details or a release date about the upcoming film. J. J. Abrams, who directed Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, will also jointly produce the film for Bad Robot with Glen Zipper.

After revitalizing the King of Monsters with his smash hit film Godzilla Minus One, writer-director Takashi Yamazaki will once again get to work with the titular kaiju. Toho International announced today that a new movie has been greenlit for production with Yamazaki set to return as writer, director, and VFX supervisor.

There will be screenings of both the colour and black-and-white versions of Takashi Yamazaki's film Anime Limited will reissue Godzilla Minus One, Takashi Yamazaki's 2023 film in TOHO's Godzilla franchise, in UK and Ireland cinemas on Friday November 1. It will be an English-subtitled release. The film will be released in two versions: the original colour film and the black-and-white edition entitled Godzilla Minus One/Minus Colour.
