3.3. Exergoeconomic AnalysisThe exergoeconomic analysis was performed on the conventional system based on fuel oil No.6 (base case) and the CCHP systems based on different fuels. Figure 5a shows the total investment cost for each plant. The initial investment cost for the plant was 5.17 million dollars, while for the proposed CCHP systems, the costs are between 2.34 and 2.49 million dollars.
