March 10 (Reuters) - Shares of IndusInd Bank fell nearly 6% on Monday to their lowest level since July 2022, after the country's central bank approved a shorter extension to its CEO's tenure, raising concerns around leadership transition and business uncertainty. The stock was down 3.3% at 905.85 rupees as of 11:01 a.m. IST, the biggest percentage loser on the blue-chip Nifty 50 index, which rose 0.3%.

Nov 14 (Reuters) - India's Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) reported a 22.1% rise in second-quarter profit on Thursday, aided by demand for its aircraft from the country's defence ministry. The state-owned fighter jet manufacturer and maintenance firm's consolidated net profit rose to 15.1 billion rupees ($178.89 million) in the three months ended Sept. 30, from 12.37 billion rupees a year earlier.

Nov 13 (Reuters) - India's Eicher Motors, which makes the Royal Enfield brand of motorcycles, reported a bigger-than-expected quarterly profit on Wednesday, helped by increased sales of its higher-capacity models such as the 'Himalayan'. The company said its net profit rose 8.3% year-on-year to 11 billion rupees ($130.40 million) in the three months to Sept. 30. That beat analysts' average estimate of 10.66 billion rupees, as per data compiled by LSEG.

Nov 12 (Reuters) - Indian auto parts maker Samvardhana Motherson International reported a smaller-than-expected increase in second-quarter profit on Tuesday, hurt by slower demand. The company, which supplies Maruti Suzuki, Mercedes Benz, Audi and other automakers, said consolidated net profit rose over four-fold to 8.8 billion rupees ($104.27 million) for the three months ended Sept. 30. However, that missed analysts' average estimate of 9.15 billion rupees, according to data compiled by LSEG.

Nov 11 (Reuters) - India's BEML reported a 1.5% fall in its second-quarter profit on Monday, hurt by lower demand for its heavy machinery and equipment as manufacturing activity dipped. The state-owned company makes machinery and products for industries like aerospace, mining, rail and metro and has clients such as Rail Vikas Nigam, Adani Power and Chennai Metro Rail.
