    When it comes to Missions: Impossible, each new installment is more bonkers than the last. Up until 2023, I hadn't seen a single Mission: Impossible film. Like many other beloved movies and shows of decades past, I wasn't intentionally avoiding the franchise; I simply hadn't gotten around to it yet. But with Dead Reckoning on the horizon over the summer, my husband and I committed to watching (for him, rewatching) the first six movies before going to see the new one that year.

    Nostalgia means we have to keep showing up to watch these remakes ... right? Disney is no stranger to live-action remakes of its own movies. It's been doing it for decades. It's only over the past 10 years or so that the company has committed to making these live-action versions of its classic films almost every year. Sometimes more than once a year. I've long believed that these live-action remakes are here to stay.

    Things haven't been the same since he returned to Grey's Anatomy full-time. Of the many ways Grey's Anatomy has evolved as a show over its 20-plus-year run, some of its core strengths still remain. The series has always, for example, made an effort to highlight the individual characters that make up a romantic relationship. Among its primary and even secondary characters -- such as Ben Warren -- it's rare for one member of a couple to fade into obscurity once they're an established link.

    Avengers: Doomsday was originally supposed to release on May 1, 2026. Sorry, MCU fans -- it looks like there won't be a new Avengers movie coming out in May next year after all. But it turns out this might be a good thing. According to Deadline, while Avengers: Doomsday was originally expected to release on May 1, 2026, it now has an expected December release the same year, on the 18th.

    Are Link and Jo really meant to last forever? Link and Jo have been a controversial Grey's Anatomy pairing from the start, though not because there's anything glaringly wrong with their relationship. The two are actually quite good together, which is largely due to their long-standing friendship. They met in high school and just happened to end up working together at Grey Sloan Memorial. In fact, many fans loved their close friendship from the beginning.
