Sunday will see even better and faster clearing and more sunshine, even for coastal communities. Sprinkles to patchy drizzle will be possible again overnight into tomorrow morning. Expect gradual warming, a few degrees each day, into early next week.

A Pacific storm brought a couple of showers and even one thunderstorm to the mountains and deserts this afternoon. The chance of any more storms will taper off after 7pm. Enough moisture will still be present on Thursday that clouds will likely build over the mountains in the afternoon, but there is only a slight chance of a stray shower or thunderstorm. Meanwhile, the coast and valleys were stuck in the clouds today with June Gloom, the pattern for most.

A Pacific storm is producing abundant showers and thunderstorms north of San Diego and will eventually spread south into the county as that storm approaches tonight. While peak activity will be over the mountains, there is a chance anywhere in the county, especially in the North County. The best chance of storms will be between 7pm and midnight.
