The 17-year-old striker subbed on for NWSL rookie Riley Tiernan in the 76th minute at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, appearing for Angel City for the first time since signing with the club in January 2024. The signing came a few months after Phair made history as the youngest player to ever debut in a World Cup at 16 years, 26 days old.

Relevent Sports has settled its antitrust lawsuit with the U.S. Soccer Federation, likely clearing the way for the sports promoter to host foreign league matches on American soil. Attorneys for the sports promoter on Wednesday filed a motion in U.S. District Court in Manhattan to dismiss the suit against U.S. Soccer "with prejudice," meaning Relevent Sports gives up its right to refile the same claim or lawsuit against the federation in the future.
