I’m a die-hard Costco fan, and I love to sing the wholesaler’s praises. But oh my god, does Costco have some cons. I mean, from that calzone drama (which Costco shoppers are not happy about) to a few other missteps, the grocer definitely has its flaws in my book. And let’s not forget about the checkout lines. Any Costco shopper will tell you that the worst thing about shopping there (aside from their outdated website) is the long, agonizing lines.

We’re still reeling from the news that a common ingredient in energy drinks has been linked to blood cancer, and now, a new report has raised concerns about arsenic levels in rice sold across the United States. It can feel overwhelming to keep up with food safety news these days. A report from Healthy Babies, Bright Futures revealed that all 105 rice products tested from U.S. grocery stores—including brands sold at Trader Joe’s and Walmart—contained detectable levels of arsenic.
