Co-written by Hope Elliott Kemp, the film was produced by Timur Bekmambetov, who is also behind the screenlife horror films Unfriended: Dark Web (2018) and Unfollowed (2018). LifeHack follows a group of teenage friends who regularly meet online through video calls and become entangled in a scheme to steal millions from a tech billionaire’s crypto wallet.

Author Adam Cesare released the YA slasher novel Clown in a Cornfield in 2020, which went on to win the Bram Stoker Award for Best Young Adult Novel. The production company Temple Hill Entertainment, which also produced the Twilight Saga, The Maze Runner films, and the Smile films, acquired the movie rights the same year it was released. Now, Clown in a Cornfield, directed by Tucker & Dale vs. Evil director Eli Craig, is finally coming to the big screen next month.

Lee Cronin’s The Mummy reboot got an exciting announcement today as it was confirmed that Midsommar star Jack Reynor has joined the cast. The film is starting production in Spain and Ireland with studios Blumhouse, Atomic Monster, and New Line Cinema. Deadline first reported that the Irish actor is leading the cast, although his role remains undisclosed. After portraying Shane Dyson in 2014’s Transformers: Age of Extinction, Reynor gained mainstream attention.
