I always talk about it, but man oh man do I love the sky! It seems there have been a lot of celestial events happening over our skies recently and I'm definitely not complaining. Whether we have full moons, eclipses, meteor showers, northern lights appearances, rare occurrences, it's all so exciting. It's also fascinating that we can all see the same thing by just looking up. Expensive and Connecticut? Sounds about right. Every time I take a trip to the grocery store, I'm reminded about how expensive pretty much everything is. It's finally that time of year where traveling to go to the beach is part of your day. One thing I like about Connecticut is that we have access to many beaches. There are town beaches and there are state beaches. No matter where you are in the state, you're not far from the water. Whether it's the ocean or a lake, you're close to something. If you're not picky, then Connecticut beaches are the perfect option.

Tis the season! Who doesn't love some good ice cream in these warm months? People are regularly buying ice cream right now (as they should) since the summer months are about to be upon us, but that makes this recall a tad bit more scary. With how common ice cream is right now, these gallons can be sitting in your freezer. Wells Enterprises, known for their Halo Top and Blue Bunny ice cream brands, has issued a recall for 22 flavors of their ice cream and a frozen yogurt.
