A new visual and a July 9 JST (effectively July 10 at 12:30 AM JST) premiere date has been revealed for the Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi TV anime. The visual sees each of the four main characters striking a pose (which their respective voice actors tried to replicate in the livestream program where the new info was revealed).

An October 2025 premiere window has been announced for the Touring After the Apocalypse TV anime. The anime was announced in February and is based on themanga by Sakae Saito, which began serialization in KADOKAWA’s Dengeki Maoh in September 2020 and has seven tankoubon volumes as of March 2025.

The upcoming yuri anime This Monster Wants to Eat Me has received a casual wear-themed visual that depicts main characters Hinako Yaotose, Shiori Omi, and Miko Yashiro. Aside from their casual wear, the characters can be seen with food items from the story’s setting of Ehime Prefecture. They include a mikan juice, the Botchan Dango, and skewered fried tarts (which seem to be Ichiroku Tarts). This Monster Wants To Eat Me is set to premiere in October.

Mitosupa Tsuchimoto‘s Genkai OL Kirigiri Giriko manga, which features an office worker and her rather extreme meals, is getting a short light anime adaptation, which premieres on May 28 JST. The light anime will be streamed on X (formerly Twitter), Tiktok, and the Shonen Jump+ YouTube channel, with new episodes on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. There will be 32 episodes in total. Dai Nippon Printing (DNP) is reported to be producing the adaptation.

The upcoming human x mermaid anime film ChaO has received new previews in the form of four character trailers. Aside from protagonist Stephen and the mermaid Chao, the previews highlight the inventor Roberta and Mai Bei. ChaO will premiere in Japan on August 15 JST. The synopsis is described as:A future society where humans and mermaids coexist.
