The opening song is “Unique” by Dannie May. The additional cast names include Sayumi Suzushiro as Henrietta, Mariya Ise as Vivia, and Satsumi Matsuda as Bachel. Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant! is based on the OVERLAP Novels light novel series written by by Yuki Kimikawa and illustrated by Gaou.

The You and Idol Precure anime movie has received some promotional material in the form of a teaser video and teaser visual. A September 12 JST release date was also revealed. The trailer features a concert show and promises a special movie-only performance. The movie’s existence was reported on before the February 2 JST premiere of the You and Idol Precure TV anime series.

The winners of sandias‘ BL Award 2025 have been announced. Among the victors is Koala Omugi‘s Noumi-senpai no Benmei, which won in the Comics and Emotional categories (Omugi released a commemorative illustration to celebrate the wins). The manga’s main characters are philosophy students Masataka and Eito — the former isn’t exactly a model student, while the younger Eito is diligent and handsome.

SNK has released an anime music video for its upcoming Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves fighting game. The video was storyboarded and directed by Masami Obari (GUNDAM BREAKER BATTLOGUE and Brave Bang Bravern director), who also handled some of the key animation. The music video opens with a battle between Terry Bogard and Geese Howard, before transitioning into a highlight reel of various characters.

Anime studios Pierrot and Asahi Production, which formed a business partnership with each other in 2024, have entered a business and capital alliance. Both parties’ announcements say that the alliance was made to further strengthen the cooperation between the two studios and form a tight partnership. They also said that they believed in the effectiveness of having a production environment where both of their strengths can be utilized. Pierrot will take on Asahi Pro shares as part of the agreement.

The Dekin no Mogura anime adaptation is set to premiere on July 7 JST. A trailer, key visual, and additional cast members were also revealed. Those additional cast names include Ayumu Murase as Kyoshiro Nekozuku, Shunsuke Takeuchi as Toshiro Nekozuku, and Azumi Tanezaki as Kyoko Nekozuku. The three are from a lineage that uses bakeneko for exorcism. Dekin no Mogura is based on the Kodansha-published manga by Natsumi Egura.

The Alma-chan wa Kazoku ni Naritai anime has received a teaser trailer and visual, along with details about the cast. The main cast includes Hika Tsukishiro as Alma, Ryota Suzuki as Enji Kamizato, and M.A.O as Suzume Yobane. Alma-chan wa Kazoku ni Naritai is based on the KADOKAWA-published manga by nanateru, which follows a weapon with the appearance of a girl and her two creators. The manga was serialized in Comic Newtype and has received a follow-up titled Alma-chan wa Kazoku ni Naritai Z.

Rusty Rabbit, the 2.5D side-scrolling action-adventure game from writer/creator Gen Urobuchi, is now available. It had a delay in 2024 before arriving at its current April 17, 2025 launch on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. A special artwork, featuring rabbit protagonist Stamp and his voice actor Takaya Kuroda, was released to commemorate both the game’s release and Kuroda’s 60th birthday. The art was created by Kanaban Graphics, the game’s character designer.
