MEXICAN APE-LORD - Blunt Instrument May 28, 2024, 29 minutes ago (10-31 Records) Rating: 8.0 review Don’t overthink it. Just “keep it simple stupid” as the old saying goes. Not that this music is simple by any means. Here is some history. The Police had a moderate hit from 1980’s Zenyatta Mondatta called "Canary In A Coalmine”. Which always got me wondering. The proper definition states “A person or creature unwittingly used as a test for danger, often destructively." August 26th, 2004 was a landmark moment for heavy metal - well, maybe only for a few. Ozzy Osbourne was forced to sit out Black Sabbath’s performance at Ozzfest in Camden, NJ due to an attack of bronchitis. Sharon Osbourne asked JUdas Priest frontman Rob Halford to cover for the ailing Ozzy, a job he had done previously during the grand finale of Ozzy’s No More Tours tour in November 1992 in Costa Mesa, CA after Ronnie James Dio (Sabbath’s singer at the time), refused to open for Ozzy.
