A Canada-wide warrant has been issued to find a man charged with sexually assaulting a minor and publishing the images. According to an RCMP news release, 45-year-old Justin Radcliffe was arrested and charged on July 19, 2022. Police say Radcliffe was released for court, but he failed to show up. "RCMP are asking the public for assistance in locating Radcliffe who is known to frequent Kelowna and Falkland B.C. and Grande Prairie," added RCMP.

It's going to be a busy weekend of ringette for Strathmore and Rockyford. The Laurie Morton Ruppe Memorial Tournament will be hosted at the Strathmore Family Centre Arena and the Rockyford Arena from Jan. 24-26. Staff with StrathmoreNow and 104.5 More Country will be at the Family Centre throughout the weekend with a table set up at the north end of the concession area.

A Chestermere woman has won $100,000. Kathleen Speck took home the money from the December 3 Western Max draw and said she still can't believe she won. According to a news release from the Western Canada Lottery Corporation, Speck says she has her husband to thank for buying the ticket. “It’s absolutely amazing,” she said. “I’m in complete shock. I don’t have any definite plans yet, but it’s great.” The winning ticket was bought at the Centex at 124 East Chestermere Drive.

Riley Brolly, manager of financial planning and budgeting with the town presented to council on Wednesday (Jan. 22). He says the bylaw is required by town administration to comply with the Municipal Government Act (MGA).
