With U.S.-China Trade talks beginning in Switzerland, and following a phone call between Putin and Zelensky, Trump told the press Thursday that he “could be seeking Beijing’s aid in his efforts to facilitate a peace process between Russia and Ukraine,” RT reports. He particularly believes that China could help bring Moscow’s and Kiev’s positions on the conflict settlement closer together to make the peace talks possible.

In addition to his thanks to the millions of citizens who saved Russia and the world from fascism, Putin counters the disgusting effort in the West to leave out Russia’s role in that victory by thanking those in the West who opened the “second front” in Europe, as well as the huge Chinese contribution in the war with Japan.

Emma Hemingford's Foreverland, about the alarming prospect of eternal life, is one of the best new plays in London. It has a short life at Southwark Playhouse until Oct 19 so catch it while you can.
We are showing The Pumpkin Eater at Chiswick Cinema at 7.30 on May 26 as part of our Pinter season. It is a rarely seen film so do come if you can.
On Saturday April 27 at 6.0 pm I will be hosting a showing of Accident, written by Harold Pinter and directed by Joseph Losey, at The Chiswick Cinema. All welcome so do come.
