Major League Baseball's Opening Day is an occasion of hope. Unless, of course, you lose. Then the season is over. Your chances of winning the World Series? Cooked. No team that's lost on Opening Day has gone on to win the Fall Classic. Don't fact-check this. Let's just overreact. Check back for updates from later games. Rockies @ RaysNo gameQuick, name a Rockies player. Don't worry if you can't; this roster is so forgettable that MLB even forgot to schedule them to play today.

Aaron Judge, who is hitting .409 with a .779 SLG, has a lower walk rate than: Zack McKinstry (.405 SLG) Michael Conforto (.226 SLG) Max Muncy (.295 SLG) Make this make sense to me. We are watching prime Barry Bonds if pitchers kept pitching to him.
