The Allstate Sugar Bowl between Notre Dame and Georgia has been postponed 24 hours. The announcement was made in the wake of a deadly terror attack in the French Quarter of New Orleans early on New Year’s Day. The game is now slated for Jan. 2 at 8:45 p.m. ET. In a prepared statement, Jeff Hundley, chief executive officer of the Sugar Bowl Committee, indicated that the game has officially been postponed. It was originally set to kick off at 8:45 p.m. ET on New Year’s Day.
