Amarillo police arrested two juveniles late Monday night following a pursuit involving a stolen vehicle that ended in a crash near railroad tracks. At approximately 11:15 p.m., patrol officers were alerted about a stolen vehicle in the area of Amarillo Boulevard East and Grand Street. Officers located the vehicle, a stolen Jeep, shortly afterward near Northeast 24th Avenue in the Mesa Verde neighborhood.

Two men were hospitalized Sunday evening after a shooting in the parking lot of a southwest Amarillo apartment complex, according to the Amarillo Police Department. Officers were dispatched to the Granite at 34th Apartments, located at 3308 Eddy St. at 6:52 p.m. May 11 on reports of multiple gunshots and two wounded individuals at the scene. When officers arrived, they found two men in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to a local hospital.
