DEI is an acronym. Believe it or not, some acronyms are cleverly designed to intimidate you. How can you possibly be against "diversity, equity, inclusion"? It’s easy to be against it with when it becomes crystal clear that it’s left-wing code for: "Merit and individual ability do not matter. Only race and gender matter. And we’re going to pretend that’s the truth." So now, let’s properly redefine DEI as "Didn’t Earn It." No one could survive five minutes going on DEI principles.

I love hearing that we are "Making America Great Again!" (MAGA) As good as it sounds, it begs the question, what made America great in the first place? What did we get less and less of to make America less great, and what do we need more of to make it great again? Even among supporters of President-elect Donald J. Trump supporters, the answers may differ. And the answers differ wildly — even fundamentally — between Democrats and Republicans.

Key Findings Low cognitive ability, functional limitations, and poor physical health are strong predictors of dementia as many as 20 years before its onset. Lifestyle factors, such as never drinking alcohol or drinking excessively, never exercising, and low engagement in hobbies, are associated with cognitive impairment and dementia. Early detection of cognitive impairment helps people take mitigating actions to prepare for future loss of their financial and physical independence.
