With the Phillies reuniting with Jeff Hoffman in Toronto this week, it got us looking ahead to his first trip back to CBP. The Philadelphia Phillies are on their annual pilgrimage north of the border to Toronto to play the Blue Jays this week. So, it seems fitting to check in on former Phillie Jeff Hoffman and take a look at when we can expect to see him in Philadelphia this summer. His return is approaching fast, with his first trip back to Citizens Bank Park coming up next weekend.

Brian Snitker stuck his foot in his mouth after losing Game 1 of Thursday's doubleheader against the Phillies. The Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves split their doubleheader on Thursday. The Braves piled on for a 9-3 win in the nightcap, despite the Phillies sending ace Zack Wheeler to the mound. But it was comments from Braves manager Brian Snitker after the Phillies' tight win in the matinée that raised eyebrows around Philadelphia.
