MEDFORD, Ore. – Medford Police are investigating a possible DUI crash that happened on West Main Street this morning. MPD received multiple reports of a reckless driver driving at high speeds head-on into oncoming traffic at around 8:30 a.m.When they arrived on the scene, a white pickup truck had struck a nearby tree. The driver was identified as 30-year-old Medford resident Austin Meyer. Meyer was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

CENTRAL POINT, Ore. – For the third time in a week, a car crashed into a building in Central Point. Central Point police say the driver had just gotten the car and was unfamiliar with the controls. She thought the car was in reverse and pushed the gas pedal, leading it to jump the curb and partially entering the Pear Valley Senior Living Complex on North Haskell. No one was hurt. Central Point Police Lieutenant Josh Abbott says he hasn’t seen an occurrence like this during his time with CPPD.

JOSEPHINE COUNTY – A partnership between AllCare Health and Rentec Direct is aiming to make it easier for landlords to help their tenants. The partnership will create a software application helping eligible AllCare Health members for up to six months with rent payments while going through the Oregon Medicaid program. Landlords will be able to access the Health-Related Social Need Benefit. It’s designed to offer support to those at risk of homelessness or struggling to maintain housing stability.

The shop has different Lego themes ranging from Marvel sets, movie characters, and kid shows. With Lego’s popularity, prices have skyrocketed over the last few years, and some retail stores lock them behind glass protection. Store owner Neil Jones says Legos are for everyone from kids to collectors. The usage of Legos varies based on the owner’s intent.
