Most discerning wrestling fans spend 11 months of the year arguing over the validity and merit of the WWE Hall Of Fame is before donating 30 days to screaming their voices hoarse for a favourite that may not yet have made the cut when the names start dropping in WrestleMania season.

CM Punk has been featured in the advertisements for WWE's next Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia. Night Of Champions 2025 will take place from Riyadh on June 28th, becoming the latest show to honour WWE's decade-long deal with the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia that kicked off in 2018. A trailer for the event aired during Saturday's Backlash PLE, and ended with a clip of CM Punk winking down the lens taken from his first promo back with the company in November 2023.

Professional wrestling icon and innovator Sabu has died aged 60. PWInsider reported first that 'The Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal' legend had passed away on May 11th. There had been no cause of death given at time of writing.

It's all kicked off on X between WWE NXT's Je'Von Evans and AEW's Ricochet. It started when Ricochet - these days something of a part-in-character Twitter troublemaker - quoted an account putting over Evans by saying "I'd squash him". In a response that was then deleted (alongside every other exchange), Evans replied; "My Bad. I Just Got Done Training At The Performance Center, Under Shawn Michaels.
