Despite early creative discussions, Asuka’s return to WWE is still not expected anytime soon. This is per Fightful Select, who noted that WWE was aware shortly after her injury that Asuka was likely to miss the remainder of 2024, including WrestleMania 41 in 2025. They added that their sources indicated that Asuka was never seriously considered due to the severity of her injury.

WWE may have accidentally revealed the outcome of an upcoming world title match – and it's one technically happening outside its own promotion. During the May 26th episode of Monday Night Raw, the company were promoting the upcoming Worlds Collide crossover show between WWE, NXT, and the newly-acquired AAA promotion on June 7th. One of the featured matches advertised for the event is Chad Gable vs.
