    1. IntroductionTTS engines are powerful assistive tools to read content from computer screens for those that require assistance with reading or have visual impairments. TTS engines are ubiquitous, with computer systems using TTS engines to produce a synthetic, human-like voice which allows for a lower barrier to entry for human interfaces to computers by making the interaction a conversational request.

    1. IntroductionA botnet is a set of networked devices that have been compromised by a malicious actor (a botmaster) to conduct various activities, such as sending spam or initiating Denial-of-Service attacks. Such compromises often occur due to vulnerabilities in the software running on the devices, leaving said devices amenable to outside control. A device that is assumed into a botnet is known as a bot or a zombie. The actions of the bots are coordinated by a command-and-control (CnC) structure.

    The research we undertook for our new book "Provocation as Leadership" has shown that real, adaptive, leadership always involves challenging the status quo by "poking a stick into the prevailing paradigm."All those we spoke to confronted paradigms whose fundamental elements had not been tested and, therefore, resisted easy modification. Like an outdated computer operating system, the prevailing coding needed revision. In some cases, it took a crisis, an external event, to create a tipping point.
