THE GRANITE STATE, WHERE THE RAIN WILL BE STEADIEST. FUTURECAST WILL SHOW YOU THAT NOW, HOUR BY HOUR. SO HERE WE GO THROUGH SEVEN AGAIN. SOME OF THOSE NEW SHOWERS COMING UP THROUGH GREATER BOSTON, THE STEADIEST BAND OF RAIN UP TO THE NORTH AND WEST BY SOME DISTANCE, WHERE WE’RE GETTING OVER AN INCH OF RAIN. BUT HERE’S 9:00. SEE WHAT I MEAN? HOW EVEN THOSE SECONDARY SHOWERS THAT ARE NOW POPPING UP CONTINUE TO DISSIPATE, AND WE’RE STARTING TO DRY OUT WITH SOME BREAKS OF SUNSHINE.

THAT’S. IT’S CHILLY FOR SURE. AND LOOK, IT’S ACTUALLY COLDER THAN AVERAGE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR FOR THE NORTH SHORE AND THE SOUTH SHORE, AROUND THE CAPE AND THE VINEYARD, SLIGHTLY ABOVE AVERAGE. THAT’S WHAT YOU’RE SEEING HERE. BUT, YOU KNOW, IN REGARDS TO SHARKS DOWN THE CAPE, USUALLY IT’S AROUND 60 DEGREES OR SO. ACCORDING TO THE MARINE BIOLOGIST, WHEN THE SHARKS START COMING THIS WAY. AND WHEN YOU THROW IN A STRONG WIND, LIKE WE’VE HAD THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS, ANYTHING THAT IGNITES TRAVELS FAST. SO EVEN SOMETHING LIKE A CIGARETTE -- BEING DISPOSED OF IN A BRUSHY AREA AND MULCH OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT CAN CALL OUT THE FIRE DEPARTMENTS.

YESTERDAY, AND WE’RE STILL WINDY TODAY. AND IT’S BREEZY TOMORROW. WE’LL GO WITH BREEZY INSTEAD OF WINDY. IT’S A VERY MINOR REDUCTION IN WIND, BUT WE’RE GETTING THERE RIGHT NOW IN BOSTON IT’S 36. THE WIND IS STILL GUSTING CLOSE TO 40MPH, SO IT FEELS LIKE 24. THAT’S WHY EVEN THOUGH TEMPERATURES ARE CLOSE TO AVERAGE TODAY AND TOMORROW, IT DOESN’T FEEL LIKE IT STILL FEELS VERY WINTRY BECAUSE THE WIND IS KNOCKING DOWN THE FEELS-LIKE TEMPERATURE.
