WisdomTree cuts fee on its physical Bitcoin ETF

ETF fund manager WisdomTree, a global financial innovator has announced a fee reduction for the WisdomTree Physical Bitcoin ETP (BTCW). The new management expense ratio of 0.25%, effective from 3 February 2025, aligns with WisdomTree’s US-listed spot bitcoin ETF fee and represents one of the lowest fee levels amongst bitcoin ETPs in Europe. The fee reduction reinforces WisdomTree’s commitment to providing investors with a simple, secure and low-cost way to gain exposure to the asset class.

It’s been a mixed day for UAE equity markets with Dubai’s DFMGI slipping but only by less than 0.1%, whilst the Abi Dhabi benchmark put in a rather more robust performance. In mid session, that retested the highs last seen in September 2024 and closed 0.5% up, shaking off the woes seen on other global markets largely driven by increasingly hawkish expectations for the US Federal Reserve.

Positive momentum continued for UAE equity markets on Tuesday, with the Dubai benchmark adding just under 0.5% whilst gains in Abu Dhabi were a more measured 0.1%.
