It should come to nobody’s surprise that I would be the one to write a review on a game where you can play a anthropomorphic vixen that speaks in broken English and fights next to a rocket firing panda that carries artillery rounds on his back. If you’re confused by what you just read than you may not be familiar with Wild Assault, a new IP entering the hero shooter space, so allow me to give you a quick run done on the newest multiplayer only (at the time of this review) third-person shooter.

Did you know Wild Assault, the new multiplayer third person shooter from indie studio Combat Cat Studio, has controller support, sorta? The game is currently in Early Access and Combat Cat Studio recently released a roadmap for 2025. In the roadmap the studio showed what’s planned for seasons two and three, one of the biggest features to be mentioned was controller support, which was shown to be coming in season three or four which is planned to begin in September and December respectively.

After months of patiently waiting, gamers were treated to gameplay video for Bungie’s upcoming multiplayer team-based extraction shooter, Marathon. The Gameplay Reveal Showcase showed off what Bungie calls, ‘…tactical and fast-paced…’ Alpha gameplay, while exploring the mysterious and cutthroat world of Tau Ceti IV, and discussed how players can join the Marathon Closed Alpha Test that will be announced at a later date.
