We now know why FOX's Rescue HI-Surf season 2 won't be happening. As renewal and cancellation season rolls on for the television industry, one of the most high-profile cancellations (but perhaps not that surprising) was Rescue HI-Surf. The show was one of FOX's big new additions to the schedule in 2024 and it looked poised to become a staple of the network's procedural content, but it didn't quite take off in the way that they had hoped.

A sixth season of The Equalizer would have finally given the viewers what they wanted. Unfortunately, CBS cancelled the show before that could happen. TV viewers are mourning the loss of The Equalizer. The well-established procedural starring Queen Latifah was abruptly cancelled by CBS after five seasons in what was undoubtedly one of the biggest headlines throughout the renewal/cancellation season.

Although Captain Bobby Nash died in ABC's 911 just a few weeks ago, one star is telling fans to remain hopeful that he'll be back at some point. The 911 fans still haven't recovered from the death of Bobby Nash and they probably never will. The beloved fire captain of the 118 was, in many ways, the main character on the show as everything that happened on it essentially took place through his eyes. He was the heart and soul of 911 and it's hard to imagine a show like this even existing without him.

It's the end of an era for 911 and fans are understandably very upset about it. ABC's 911 is known for throwing its fans through a loop. Since the beginning of its run (back in its Fox days), the procedural series has tackled some of the most outlandish storylines you'll see in all of television and that's what makes it among the most memorable shows right now. For better or worse, 911 (and any show set in that shared universe) is known for taking big swings.

The Flash had a number of questionable storylines throughout its run and star Grant Gustin has revealed which one he struggled with. The Flash was an absolute force for the decade that it was on the air. The CW's adaptation of the classic DC Comics character was easily one of the most popular shows on television throughout its first few seasons and it maintained a huge portion of that popularity during its final few seasons too.
