Journal of Insect Science (JIS), in partnership with the American Association of Professional Apiculturists and the Canadian Association of Professional Apiculturists, is pleased to publish a special collection of articles featuring investigations on micro and macro aspects of honey bee health, sociobiology, and management. Honey bees (Apis mellifera) are the most important managed insect pollinator in U.S. and Canadian crop systems.
