Velikim ulaganjem u zelene tehnologije i iskorištavanjem svog ogromnog domaćeg tržišta, ta je zemlja uspjela smanjiti troškove i povećati ponudu proizvoda koji su joj potrebni te potaknuti zelene inovacije. Ali napredak Kine možda neće koristiti ostatku svijeta ni približno onoliko koliko bi mogao.
