AS WELL. A GOOD MONDAY EVENING. HAPPY SAINT PATRICK’S DAY TO THOSE OF YOU WHO CELEBRATE TONIGHT. WE’LL HAVE DECREASING CLOUDS. IT WILL BE A WINTER CHILL TONIGHT AS WE’LL DROP BACK TO NEAR THE FREEZING MARK AND THEN THE END OF WINTER LOOKING QUITE MILD. WE’LL BE BACK IN THE 60S TOMORROW AND WEDNESDAY AS WE SAY GOODBYE TO THE WINTER SEASON. FIRST DAY OF SPRING IS ON THURSDAY, AND IT’S GOING TO BE A BIT OF A SOGGY ONE HERE.

Good afternoon!Northwest winds are picking up, not only bringing drier air into the Valley but also much cooler air. Temperatures in the 50s will continue to fall into the mid and upper 40s later this morning. Highs only budge a couple of degrees, back to the low 50s midday, before falling during the afternoon. Clouds will mix with some sun during the day, then skies begin to clear this evening as high pressure builds in from the west. Winds will relax tonight under mostly clear skies.

IT’S GOING TO BE A MILD AND DRY FRIDAY TODAY, VERY SIMILAR TO WHAT WE HAD YESTERDAY, STARTING WITH CLOUDS AND ENDING WITH SUNSHINE. THEN FOR THE WEEKEND SATURDAY LOOKING OKAY. IT’S GOING TO BE CLOUDY AND BREEZY, BUT WE SHOULD JUST GET A FEW SPRINKLES OUT WEST OF HARRISBURG SUNDAY. IT’S GOING TO BE WINDY. WE’RE ALSO TRACKING THE CHANCE FOR SOME STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS, AND THAT’S WHY SUNDAY WILL BE AN IMPACT DAY FOR THE SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY.
