An event billed as a “community meeting” for the development of a biogas plant in south Kildare has been cancelled for the second time. CycleØ announced that the hotel have declined to host the event “at the last minute” on Tuesday evening on their Facebook. The event was supposed to take place on Wednesday afternoon in the Talbot Hotel in Carlow. Last month, CycleØ had planned to hold the event at the Clanard Court Hotel in Athy.
