Gothic terrain is a staple of a lot of tabletop role-playing games, including D&D and Warhammer, which is why there's lots of sets for sale like this one. This set offers a couple of ruined church buildings, designed for 18-28mm miniatures. The detail is solid. There are plenty of nooks and crannies that will catch washes and help create those dramatic shadows and highlights when you paint them.

There are two types of DMs: the kind who like to print their maps and the kind who use dry- or wet-erase maps. The problem is that if say, you have a valuable map you need to markup that isn't made for markers, the DM has to mark up the map permanently or not touch it at all. These Gaming Paper Clear Tiles split the difference. The interlocking design makes it easy to connect these 8” x 11” tiles to create a smooth, seamless gaming surface. Need a bigger map? Just add more tiles.

If you're a Dungeon Master or a player who frequently uses area-of-effect spells, you know the struggle of accurately visualizing those spell ranges. In my opinion, the gold standard for spell effects are wire templates by Steel Sqwire , which make it easier to just plop a template over a battlemap, miniatures and all. This set aims to do something similar, and for the most part, it succeeds. The variety is impressive.

Should You Get It?I've had these bookends forever and was about to get rid of them when I realized with a fresh coat of paint, they could be really amazing. So I did just that.Thesefrom Windstone Editions are solid. They weigh 6 lbs. each and are carved 5 inches long by 5 inches wide by 7.5 inches high. Although six pounds doesn't seem like a lot, these are the rare bookends that are quite heavy and capable of holding up hardcovers easily. The dragon sculpts themselves are whimsical.

I got this mug as a gift and was impressed by the detail. This mug is about four and a half inches high and four inches in diameter, with the handle adding an additional inch or so.The detail on this mug is striking. It's meant to be used as a drinking stein, as there's a stainless steel interior. There's two dragons repeating on each side, plus a wyvern for a handle. There is detailed knotwork along the bottom and a repeating antler design along the top.
