Why tiptoe through the tulips when you can dawdle through the daffodils? The popular yellow flowers have been popping up for weeks, a true sign that spring has arrived in New England. The seasonal change is perfectly depicted with these blooms as the flower symbolizes joy, hope, rebirth and new beginnings. Whether its a weekly trip or once every few days, we find ourselves in the grocery store frequently. While purchasing items we scour the shelves in search of the freshest, best-looking, non-expired foods to add to our carts. A staple on many grocery lists is bread. You may be toasting it in the morning, using it as a base for your sandwich or simply snacking on a piece. When you select your favorite loaf off the shelf, you eye one thing: the expiration date.
