In our fast-paced lives, we pride ourselves on our ability to multitask. Employers encourage it, we boast about it on our resumes. It is frowned upon if we cannot do several things at once. But are we effective? Does multitasking make every task accurate and complete? We have accepted multitasking, but at what expense? I long for the days when I had one task. It was a trial period at work as a new employee. Let’s give her one job and see how she performs before we give her more.

Valentine's Day must be by far one of the most stressful days. For new couples, it is the opportunity to prove your love by gifting your Sweetheart with what his or her heart desires. For couples that have some mileage, it is simply a day to reinforce the love that has lasted over time. A meaningful card or dinner for two is enough to celebrate the day. For couples that have decades invested in their relationship, Valentine's Day is just another day of the week.
