Voters in parts of Maryland casted their ballots on several issues, including allowing noncitizens and young residents to vote in local elections. Here are some of the unofficial results in Maryland races WTOP has been monitoring. Leading candidates and results are in bold.

While Tuesday’s Election Day focus in the D.C. area is centered on races in Virginia, polls are also open in parts of neighboring Montgomery County, Maryland. RockvilleVoters in the City of Rockville will decide on whether to allow noncitizens and residents as young as 16 to vote in local elections. If the issue passes, results won’t automatically change city law — the would be left for Rockville City Council members to address in the future.
