You know what? I can’t remember when I first started learning more about AI or when I started recognising its widespread use; I only know how I feel about it now. (Derogatory, that’s how.) After the recent boxed action figure and Studio Ghibli-style character ‘trends’, I thought I’d take a moment to talk about AI and why I am staunchly against using it for any sort of creative endeavour and then some.

Happy Sundaze, my loves! It’s Saturday morning as I write this weekend’s post. Milo and I are lounging on the sofa after a bumper walkies, Eddie is snoozing upstairs after working an extra shift, and there’s lot of packing on my agenda. It could only be the weekend before our big trip! And, boy, do I need a break. Between work and adulting and everything else I often try to juggle, it’s no surprise that I’m starting to feel a bit messy and discombobulated all ‘round.

Happy Friday, my loves!I feel as though I blinked and completely missed this week. The days are racing by and I’m sure it’s because the good weather here in my slice of England has fuelled me to do more than ‘be a pensive Pisces’ indoors. Instead, I’m lapping up the sunshine like a cat particularly drawn to a good sunspot. The good news? I’m hitting my 10,000 steps. The bad? I’m very behind on house jobs and my cosy hobbies. But it’s all about the balance, isn’t it?

Happy Sundaze, my loves! It’s my perfect sort of Sunday: it’s 18°C – although I’d prefer it to be even warmer really – the skies are blue, the big sycamore outside our home is heavy and swaying with new leaves, the house is clean, and I’m watching the London Marathon coverage. (I’ve teared up three times so far.) Eddie and I started our day with breakfast at our favourite café, and I’ll probably take a nap later.
