I’ve been a widow 5 yrs & have progressed thru the pain, have had some big joys & adventures & romances, & have made lots of life changes. I am better, but I am also still very sad at times. I do not expect to be “over it” at some finite date, just to keep living with it. /8

I struggled to remember daily details, find my confidence, concentrate, make decisions, do technical work, not walk into walls, sleep, make small talk well past year 1. Prob all of year 2. This is the normal grief process. Ask anyone who regularly works w/ grievers. /7
