They are a part of Project Gallantly Forward's retreat in Graysville and a vision Lucas Lewis has worked to bring to reality for years. "There's no way that we would be where we're at right now without the help of others," he said. "The cabins aren't even done yet and veterans are already getting the opportunity to use the farm.

Those who live in this area often face hardships. Beamon has seen and experienced them herself, which is why she works for Purpose Point Community Health as a Community Health Specialist, a free health clinic for uninsured adults with chronic diseases.

It's almost finals week at Cleveland State Community College, meaning students and faculty are busy making sure they're ready. Including Julie Fullbright, who is an Associate Professor of English by day and a Nursing student at night. "It's been very hard, very hard, trying to juggle my teaching job, my full-time teaching job, and doing this, but it's been worth it so far. I've really loved it," Julie said. Julie has been a professor at Cleveland State for nearly 24 years, even penning three novels.

UPDATE: Monday night was special for a Red Bank High School JROTC cadet. Cadet Logan Nissen was awarded the U.S. Army SSGT Ryan Christian Knauss JROTC Merit Scholarship. Knauss was killed in Afghanistan in 2021. His mother, Paula, started the Respect & Remember Foundation in his honor. The non-profit supports active duty military, veterans and JROTC cadets. Logan received a $1,000 scholarship and a beautiful handsewn quilt from the Red Bank Quilting Ministry.
