The Network and Information Security 2 Directive (EU) 2022/2555 ("NIS2") entered into force on 16 January 2023. NIS2 sets cyber rules for organizations whose services are considered essential or important for maintaining critical societal and economic activities, such as ensuring the flow of energy or financial transactions. As a Directive, NIS2 must be transposed into the national laws of the EU Member States before it can take direct effect.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (March 10, 2023) — This winter, the Rock Island community invites you to be cool and take the plunge for the 2023 Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge to support Special Olympics Illinois athletes. Rock Island‘s Polar Plunge will take place at Bally’s Quad Cities Casino and Hotel, 777 Bally Blvd, Rock Island, Illinois, on Sunday, March 12. Prior to the event starting, registration will begin at 12:30PM, followed by the plunge starting at 2PM.
