Each year, Bridges for Music takes in over 250 students (known as co-creators, a term that empowers them as equals in the project), hosts regular community events, and features an Industry Access employment programme that creates around 250 placements.

It was almost a quarter of a century ago that Armin van Buuren first came to Ibiza. To think of how much has changed in that time is a bit like trying to imagine the size of the universe — impossible. Despite that, the Dutch trance titan has, once again, been one of the biggest draws on the island this year with his return to Ushuaïa Ibiza every Sunday through September. That first visit was in the summer of 2000. Armin Jozef Jacobus Daniël van Buuren was just 24 years old.

Girls Of The Internet delve into themes of self-discovery, reinvention and “house as a queer art form” across their new 12-track LP, ‘When I Was Lost, I Found Myself’. “Sometimes, in our darkest moments and when everything seems hopeless, that’s when we can find direction in our lives,” says Tom Kerridge, the founder of the Girls Of The Internet collective that started in 2017. He is speaking from personal experience, having spent many years in the music industry only to find himself rather lost.
