It's so important to read. Through books, readers can find themselves in different worlds and learn new perspectives. They can find solace and healing. Books can challenge people to think in ways they may not have before. I've read 20 books so far this year, completing half my yearly reading goal of 40 books. My heart gravitates toward fiction, though I do read the occasional memoir or two. I love books that make me feel and think, ones that give me long-lasting feelings and memories.
