Reggie Hildred-Imagn Images After a 64-win regular season led by a staff that boasts the NBA’s reigning Coach of the Year, it was only a matter of time before the Cleveland Cavaliers would start to have their braintrust poached by the competition. Trevor Ruszkowski-Imagn Images With their season essentially on the line, the Cleveland Cavaliers imploded in Indiana and were dismantled by the Pacers 129-109. The 20-point loss looks a lot better than what actually happened, which was a 41-point halftime deficit coupled with some of the worst offense any team has displayed on an NBA court this season. There were winners and losers, and a lot of the latter for the Cavs, who now trail 3-1 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

That would put Garland in danger of missing the beginning of the season, which should probably be the expectation. Also explains his, uh, lack of movement in the playoffs. A pretty significant injury.
