    The newest DVD (Daviet Victor Digitalvideoseries) installment is here, and this one tops them all, in our opinion. Victor and Nasima Zirak, an Afghan snowboarder, artist, and political refugee who recently settled in Annecy, France head out on an adventure to eventually hike a nearby peak for Nasima’s first-ever freeride descent. To get there, though, they pedal across Lake Annecy on a paddleboat, hop on e-bikes, and hit the trail.

The new Waverange X Pro is a preview of the next frontier of Burton’s approach to boot functionality. In conceiving its development, the engineering team threw all previous notions and emotions out the window, and addressed specific needs of modern snowboarders, and connected those needs with new technologies and concepts.

    Victor Daviet JUST released his newest DVD (#DavietVictorDigitalVideos) video, starring Mathis Bozzolo and himself, drawing parallels between shredding powder and the spectacle of fireworks. These fleeting moments of explosions are absolute crowd pleasers, but one is generally safer to play with than the other. We can definitely recommend trying this at home.

    In 2011, Burton dropped the highly sought-after Japan-only release of the Stellar snowboard, a pow-centric new shape, limited to 500 units. Today, they’re re-releasing the Stellar, as well as a pow surf version of it as part of their latest Mine 77 collection. The unique graphic is a nod to the original 2011 Stellar, and the swath of red on the tail really ties the room together. This Mine 77 line also features matching versions of the new Step On EST Cartel X and Lexa X bindings.

    Sometimes, you have to go turning over stones to find a good deal on a lift ticket, but as it turns out, the best deal in town just might actually be in town. We often look for inspiration in the idea of traveling to far away destinations, but can overlook the fact that maybe there are fun turns right down the street from where we live. Case and point: Kissing Bridge’s Late Night Great Night. Last winter, I moved back to my old stomping grounds: western New York.
