    MIAMI -- Element Solutions reported first quarter net sales at its electronics segment increased 13% to $394 million. Organic net sales increased 10%. Adjusted EBITDA was $89 million, up 6%. On a constant currency basis, adjusted EBITDA increased 9%. Element Solutions is the parent company of MacDermid and Alpha. Overall revenue was $594 million, up 3% over the first quarter of 2024. Organic net sales increased 5%. Net income was $98 million, versus $56 million in 2024, an increase of 75%.

    OULU, FINLAND – Scanfil reported first quarter revenue of 192.6 million euros ($219.3 million), down 3.2% from a year ago. EBITA fell 4.1% to EUR 12.6 million on a comparable basis, while EBITA margin ticked down 10 basis points to 6.5%. Operating profit (EBIT) was EUR 11.9 million, a decrease of -6.6%. Operating profit (EBIT) margin was at 6.2%.

    STOCKHOLM – Note reported organic sales fell 5% to SEK 1.0 billion ($104.2 million) as strength in its defense end-market was offset by an industrial slowdown. Operating profit was SEK 93 million, up from SEK 91 million a year ago. Adjusted operating profit was up SEK 7 million to SEK 100 million, adjusted for revaluations of operating assets and liabilities in foreign currencies, as well as an SEK 18 million provision for restructuring the UK operations in the first quarter of this year.
